 In 1994 “La Casona del Cafetal” was founded to offer the public a gastronomic option in the Cachí valley, one of the most enchanting corners of beautiful Costa Rica. Today we are the most visited restaurant in the area.
Our mission is to offer excellent quality food and service in an environment known for its beautiful surroundings where families can come and enjoy a memorable experience of hospitality, exquisite taste and excellent service.
We have the capacity to serve up to 300 people. Our doors are open 365 days of the year from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. For special events the schedules are set according to your needs.
Our colonial facilities are surrounded by exuberant gardens and traditional coffee plantations that complement the spectacular view of the Cachí Lake and the mountains around us.
“La Casona del Cafetal” offers you the ideal place to escape from routine to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere whilst savoring a delicious meal.
Our chef has included a varied selection of national and international recipes to satisfy each and everyone’s gastronomical whim. On Sunday’s and holidays we offer an ample and delicious buffet where you can find a wide variety of dishes that fuse international and Costa Rican cuisine.
